Defiled Temple in Baldur's Gate 3 - Crack the Code to the Moon Door!

Getting into the Defiled Temple

In the wrecked sanctuary, roll past Goblin Bro Brakkal’s cage, head to the Corrupted Temple at coordinates '272, -13.' In there, gear up for a showdown with the big bad Ogre Palma.

After kicking Ogre butt, dive deep into the dungeon and hit up the coordinates '436, 54.' You’ll spot four circles on the ground. The path ahead's locked, so twist those plates to swing open the door.

Cracking the Moon Door

No extra steps needed – heroes, let's get movin' those platforms. Each plate's got four circles, black for the new moon, white for the full moon. Keep it simple: shift the black circles onto the platform with the light. Easy-peasy. Switch your camera to the 'Top Down' view with 'O' to get a better look.

Here’s the move:

Top Plate: One spin.

Left Plate: One spin.

Right Plate: Two spins.

Bottom Plate: Three spins.

Left Plate: Two spins.

Check out the screenshot above for the winning combo. Once all the black circles hit the bottom plate with the light, boom! The door swings open, and you’re on to the next dungeon section. Plus, your Night Song quest gets a refresh. Keep descending and slide into the Underground.

Quick heads up: There’s a lever on the wall that pops the moon door open. But watch out, you gotta nail an attention check to pull it off.

Happy gaming, and may your critical hits be ever in your favor!
