What are artifacts for?

During the Invasion event, players can collect alien artifacts. You need these items in order to unlock the Chimera skin customization options.

1. The first artifact is next to the road, southeast of the Weeping Woods.
2. The second can be found in a container in a bar southeast of Misty Meadows.
3. The third will be near the solar panels at the weather station south of Catty Corner.
4. The fourth artifact can be found in the broken elevator shaft in the Sharky Shell.
5. The fifth artifact awaits you at the docks of the slums in the southwestern part of the island.
