Chinese company GPD is cooking up something exciting for the gaming community – a slick portable Android console named GPD-XP that the company showed off on their Discord channel.
Imagine a Nintendo Switch vibe but with a twist – detachable control modules that you can swap out. On the left side, you've got an analog stick, D-pad, and system buttons for your navigation needs. The right side is where the magic happens – choose between a classic setup with ABXY keys and an extra stick or a streamlined version with five buttons, perfect for MOBA game action. Need a blank slate? Just pop a plug-in, and you're good to go.But that's not all; they've even thrown in a camera in the mix, tucked away in the lower-left corner of the GPD-XP screen. Minimal disruption, maximum fun.
Device characteristics:
- display 6.81 inches, touchscreen,
- ARM-based processor (rumored to be MediaTek Helio G95),
- RAM 6 GB,
- built-in memory of UFS 2.1 standard 128 GB,
- microSD card slot,
- battery capacity 7,000 mAh (according to developers, it should be enough for 12 hours of battery life),
